A home-screen widget + full Android app for any Luach-powered shul — and a standalone zmanim & weather app for your own location. Today's next minyan with a live countdown, shiurim, events, 20 on-device zmanim, weather, and an alarm before any time. Pick once; it keeps itself current.
Sideload-only · Android 7.1.1+ · normal + flip-phone builds
Shul Widget puts your shul's davening schedule on your home screen and in a full app. Pick your shul once and it stays current — the next minyan with a live countdown, shiurim, events, 20 zmanim computed right on your phone, and local weather. No account or sign-in for everyday use.
Not affiliated with a listed shul? Choose “No Shul — Zmanim & Weather only” and it becomes a clean zmanim + weather app for your device location or a ZIP code.
Home screen
Next Event, Main Shul Overview, All Zmanim, Current Weather, Next Zman, and an upcoming-Shabbos widget — each with a real preview in the picker. Every widget can show a different shul.
App
A chronological day, a weekly per-tefilla view, your zmanim, and Open-Meteo weather. Swipe between tabs.
New · v3.1.0
Pick “No Shul” and get zmanim + weather for your device GPS or a ZIP code — no shul required. The header shows your city, ZIP, and coordinates.
Reminders
A full-screen alarm — vibration + sound, snooze or dismiss — a set number of minutes before a minyan or zman. Exact, and it survives reboots and Doze.
On-device
Computed on your phone — no network round-trip after first load. Choose which ones appear.
Find a shul
Ranks the registered shuls by distance and switches to the closest one in a tap.
Admin
Sign in with Google or email and edit minyanim, shiurim, events, exceptions, and settings. Plus per-shul team chat.
Flip phones
A separate flip-phone APK: scaled-down UI, Left/Right to switch tabs, OK to select. Installs on non-touch hardware.
Multi-tenant
CMH, Khal Yereim, Torah Life Kollel — and any shul added to the registry.
This app isn't on the Play Store — you install the APK directly. It takes about a minute.
arm64-v8a file. Older / budget phones (TracFone, Moto E): armeabi-v7a. Not sure: the universal one (no ABI in the name). Flip phones: the -flip APK.No. The “Play Protect doesn't recognize this developer” / “Install anyway” screen appears for every app that isn't installed from the Google Play Store. It's about where an app comes from — not what it does.
Google designed Android to push installs through the Play Store, where apps are reviewed and Google takes a cut of any payments. Anything you sideload — install directly as an APK — gets this scary-looking prompt by default, even though sideloading is a normal, fully supported part of Android.
This app is open about exactly what it is: every release and the full changelog are public, it asks only for ordinary permissions, and it updates itself in place from this page. Tapping “Install anyway” is the right move.
